Touch New Zealand (TNZ) in conjunction with the five Premier Touch League Franchisees are pleased to announce the confirmed dates for the 2021 Premier Touch League. The dates are now 31^st March 1^st, 2^nd & 3rd of April 2022, in Taupō.

This decision follows the recent postponement from the original dates which were set for October & November 2021. Covid-19 alert level government changes have made it possible for us to look forward into 2022 and look to run our 2021 PTL.

Touch NZ Chief Executive Joe Sprangers states that “it is fantastic to reach agreement with the franchises on new dates so that this exciting and important event can be held in what is a very uncertain operating environment”.

Touch NZ Tournaments Manager Guy Barton mentions that “we are keen to explore more venues throughout NZ, and the fields at Owen Delany Park in Taupo are of high caliber and are just what we were looking for”.

Ongoing discussions with the franchises will determine the format and dates for the 2022 Premier Touch League which is scheduled for October & November 2022.
