Touch Blacks Trial Day 2024: Your Pathway to the 2025 Trans Tasman Series

Are you ready to take your game to the next level? Touch New Zealand is extending an invitation to players who have not been part of the 2024 Touch Blacks programme. We are looking for talented individuals to apply for a chance to trial at the exclusive Touch Blacks Trial Day on 5th October 2024, at McLennan Park, Papakura, Auckland.

Showcase Your Skills

This is a unique opportunity to demonstrate your abilities in a series of trial games. Each game will be recorded and meticulously reviewed by our coaches and selectors as they prepare for the 2025 Trans Tasman Series. This is your moment to shine and potentially secure your place in the team.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, you must currently be playing at the National Opens Grade or above. Your application must include your performance experience and playing history, which will be essential in evaluating your potential.

Application Deadline

Don't miss out - applications close on 23rd September 2024. This is a new initiative aimed at providing opportunities to players who may have missed selection for Nationals or PTLs. Self-nomination is encouraged, so take the chance to present your playing performan ce history and be considered for the Touch Blacks.

What to Expect on the Day

The day will be fully dedicated to trial games, where your performance will be assessed by our team of coaches and selectors. These games will not only be recorded for further analysis but will also be open for public viewing. A detailed run sheet for the day will be available on this page once the final schedule is confirmed.
