Kia ora Touch NZ Whānau,

Summer is just around the corner and we’re gearing up for a huge year with another National event added to the mix, the Touch World Cup and lots of activity in our local communities throughout Aotearoa. 

We’ve been working away behind the scenes too, and are excited to launch some new initiatives as well as share our new strategic Plan, Māhere Rautaki Pā Aotearoa, for 2023 – 2027. Built around four key pou; People, Participation, Partnership and Performance, our collaborative goals and values will help us continue our mission to provide accessible quality Touch experiences for all. 2023/2024 Touch NZ Calendar of events

Our calendar is locked and loaded for the upcoming season and will see Masters and Opens grades having their own respective National events for the first time since 2013. Supported by our Principal Partner – Bunnings, we are excited to confirm the dates and venues for the upcoming season as follows:  

  • 2023 Bunnings NZSS National Touch Championship 
    8th – 10th December 2023 | Rotorua International Stadium and Ray Boord Park, Rotorua
  • 2024 Bunnings National Youth Touch Championship
    2nd – 4th February 2024 | Pulman Park, Auckland
  • 2024 Bunnings National Masters Touch Championship
    23rd – 25th February 2024 | Ongley Park, Palmerston North
  • 2024 Bunnings National Touch Championship
    8th – 10th March 2024 | Rotorua International Stadium, Rotorua

Touch NZ Strategic Plan 2023 – 2027:

 We are pleased to share our newly launched strategic plan which will run from now through until 2027. Our strategic plan will lay the foundation for the next 4 years, providing an action plan and clear objectives for our organisation. This particular strategy is focused around four key pou; People, Participation, Partnership and Performance each with its own set of goals. We are looking forward to continuing our mission to provide accessible quality Touch experiences for all while upholding our values of Whanaungatanga, Manaakitanga and Kotahitanga.
