We are looking to recruit a National Referee Lead to support us with our ambition to make Touch the largest participation sport in New Zealand! 

There's no denying the scale and significance of this role. We love our referee sector and are looking for someone who will go above and beyond to ensure our referee community is well supported.

The successful applicant will work closely with programme leads and across teams within Touch NZ, and the wider Touch community. 

Reporting to the Sport Operations Manager, this full time position is based from our Mt Wellington office in Auckland. 

The following attributes are desired: 

• Demonstrated experience in leading and assisting in delivery of sport programmes (Experience in referee programmes is desirable)
• Sound MS Office and database management skills (Experience with Sporty database system and/or Sport Tutor is desirable.) 
• Excellent organisational and planning skills 
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to relate to a wide range of people across a span of situations. 
• Excellent relationship management skills; effective internally, externally, and across all levels of the organisation. 
• Experience in managing and prioritising multiple and competing tasks and projects to meet deadlines and produce quality results. 
• Knowledge of, and commitment to, Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
