Welcome to the Touch NZ Referees section

Here you will be able to find all of the up to date information for everything related to Refereeing Touch, from becoming a Referee at Park Level (grassroots) to the highest Level at National and International Tournaments.

You will find information on Courses and Tournaments within your own province and throughout NZ that you can apply for selection to attend. Also the Referee Policies and our Referee Common Bond and Code of Conduct will be available for you to view.

Be sure to check the website on a regular basis as new information relating to tournaments and selections will be added constantly throughout the season.

Referees Development Manager Transitional Arrangements
In line with the notification regarding Bernie Schraders resignation it is important that in the interim that Touch NZ puts some transitional arrangements in place for the queries/approaches that were made to the Touch NZ National Referees Development Manager.  Until further notice all referee related matters that previously went to the Touch NZ National Referees Development Manager should now be sent to the following Touch NZ Staff Member:

Les will operate as a 'clearing house' for referee matters and refer all queries through to the Darrin Sykes, Chair of the Touch NZ Referee Advisory Panel for guidance on what to do with the queries.  Darrin has been instructed to provide a copy of the queries through to the other volunteer members of the panel.  This protocol will be effective immediately and remain in place until such time as it is changed.  It is Touch New Zealand's expectation that there will be a 'business as usual' approach to the Touch NZ referee services.
